Kathryn Hearn's current work is the culmination of eight years of living in and experiencing the Cambridgeshire Fens after leaving London, exploring the flatness of the arable landscape and later the history of the local farming culture and community.
Kathryn's beautifully unsettling pieces are hand-built in porcelain, which is extruded and handled in a way that belies it's delicacy yet perfectly describes the rawness and practicality of her agricultural surroundings.
Kathryn's unique pieces are available for purchase on the Cambridge Ceramics website
